The Maison’s touring exhibition makes its last—and Southeast Asia-exclusive—stop in Singapore, inviting visitors on a sensorial journey that threads Louis Vuitton’s heritage with its vision for the fashion future.
Louis Vuitton has long been synonymous with travel and meticulous craftsmanship. It all began with carefully designed trunks for Parisian clients constantly on the move—a legacy that still pulses through every corner of the exhibition.
The moment you step into the first room, Master Mind, it feels like opening the lid to Nicolas Ghesquière’s mind itself. The creative director has taken a 161-year-old legacy and catapulted it into a dizzying future. Screens, projections, and high-tech visuals swirl around you, conjuring a world possibly another 161 years ahead, yet tethered to the Maison’s traditional savoir-faire.
Here, Ghesquière’s imagination is tangible. From kinetic sculptures to digital installations, the space plays with perception, scale, and movement, transporting you into a universe where Louis Vuitton’s heritage dialogues effortlessly with its innovative vision. Past and future feel like they’re coexisting in the same breath, and you can’t help but get swept along.

Move on to Artists’ Hands, and the exhibition becomes intimate. Here, you witness the making of today’s most coveted bags—the La Petite Malle and the Dora—through the eyes of the artisans themselves. Interactive table-screens allow you to see every fold of leather, every stitch, every precise turn of the tools. Watching it unfold, you almost feel the rhythm of the hands at work, and it’s hypnotic—the kind of craftsmanship that’s at once human and magical.

In the Accessories Gallery, history feels alive. Original trunks, like the one made for Miss France 1927, Roberte Cusey, echo in the Maison’s latest leather goods. Vintage and modern pieces converse, carrying the same gestures, the same meticulous attention to detail. The space is inhabited by avatars of Ghesquière’s muse, Marte Mei van Haaster, subtly animating the room.
Every corner reminds you that Louis Vuitton is never just about objects—it’s about stories, memory, and reinvention. You find yourself lingering over small details: a particular clasp, a corner stitch, the subtle reflection of light on polished leather.

Then, the moment that stops you: watching a La Petite Malle bag come to life from scratch. One of Louis Vuitton’s flown-in artisans orchestrates a delicate ballet of hands, materials, and tools. Each motion is precise, deliberate, yet graceful—a quiet spectacle of technical mastery and devotion. It’s the ultimate reminder that what makes Louis Vuitton timeless isn’t just design—it’s the human touch behind every piece

By the end of Louis Vuitton Series 3, it’s clear that this exhibition is more than a display of fashion. It’s a journey through time, a dialogue between heritage and imagination, and a celebration of the invisible threads—the minds, hands, and stories—that make luxury enduring.

And finally, the playful side: the stickers station, where visitors can remix Louis Vuitton icons and motifs onto virtual luggage. It’s a small but joyful reminder that Louis Vuitton isn’t just reverent about its past—it invites you to join the journey, to imagine and create. These interactive stickers feel almost like collecting little souvenirs from a museum you can touch, rearrange, and take with you, giving the exhibition a sense of intimacy and fun.

Louis Vuitton, Series 3 Exhibition is held at Crystal Pavilion South, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, B2, between 28th November to 23rd December 2015.
